Yolanda Adams (innate around 1964) is an African-American singer, one of the virtually all popular gospel music artists of the contemporary period. Along using Kirk Franklin, Adams is one of the number one creative person to blend R&B and gospel music, an achievement which, while it initially caused criticism among the conservative Christian church, later helped gospel gain airplay in secular venues.
Biography
Adams originally worked as a schoolteacher and part-half-time model in Houston, Texas. Elysian by her mother, Adams turned to music & freed her number 1 album, Even as We are, around 1988. Inside 1997, Adams married previous NFL player Tim Crawford, though in 2005, Adams filed for divorcement.
